BIOGRAPHY

Moldig were formed in 2005 in Torino, Italy, as a duo (Giuditta Corgnati – vocals/bass and Enrico Bricco – guitars), later, in 2008, joined by Ronnie Pizzo on drums .
In June 2006 "The treachery", was chosen as song of the week at www.rock-Industries.com , and included in the German Gothic Magazine no. 54 Compilation ( distributed to retail shops all over Europe) together with artists such as The Sounds and other major label artists.
Moldig were also elected Best New Comers of the year 2007 for the newyorkish Magazine Drop Dead Magazine.
.... "A game", was a song featured on "Notes from the New Underground no.7" Compilation (www.post.punk.com ).
....."Mirror" was featured on the German "Smoke and Spotlights no2" compilation in 2007.
...."Horizon", was featured on " Stay in the Box ", a Matchbox Recordings (Oxford, UK) showcase album released worldwide and advertised worldwide on MTV2.
The first EP (Moldig, 2006, self-production) got good response from critics. Tracklist was: 1 The treachery 2 A game 3 Strangers 4 20 seconds
The German Gothic Magazine no.54 said "The treachery" is filling the dancefloors at German parties!".
In 2007, Moldig performed at various national and international venues :

The band’s first album (Moldig- No Title) has been released on the 28th of Nov, 2007, as Black & White Dog Records (self-production). Some of the songs feature Glenn Maryansky (on drums) from the newyorkish band Blacklist (Wierd records).
The album has received good response from critics as well as from the listeners.
After the album was released, Moldig performed at the international festival Drop Dead Festival in Prague (nov 2007) as Best Newcomers of the year, and toured the UK (Dec 2007-Jan 2008), hitting London and the midlands; here some of the dates on the tour: The Tardebigge Venue (Redditch UK), The Holly Bush (Cradley Heath, UK), The Shakespeare's Head (Leicester, UK), The Old Nick's Tavern (Horncastle,UK), Hark 2 Towler (Bury, UK), The Windmill (Brixton, London, UK, headlining), Joogleberry Playhouse (Brighton, UK, headlining), The Hobbit (Southampton, UK ).
Having signed a management and distribution deal with the americal label Roc Music (www.rocmusic.com) from Cincinnati, OH, in 2008 Moldig has been to the US on tour; our tour hit the East Coast; here's some of the dates on our tour: 8/15 BLUE ROCK TAVERN Cincinnati, OH, USA , 8/16 THE CYOTE Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania , USA, 08/17/ AXIS LOUNGE Carlstadt, NJ, United States, 08/18 THE TRASH BAR Brooklyn, NY, 8/19 PARK SIDE LOUNGE New York, USA, 08/20 WIERD PARTY -HOME SWEET HOME NY , 08/21 Red and Black Club Washington, D.C, USA , 08/22 OLD FIELD'S ON HIGH Columbus, Ohio, USA , 8/23 SOUTHGATE HOUSE PARLOR Newport, Kentucky, USA
In nov 2008 Moldig played in Erlagen (DE) Ghost Dance Party
In may 2009 Moldig played in London, Dead & Buried.
In 2009 the band performed in various venues in Italy.
Between 2009 and 2012 Moldig wrote their second album
The band’s second album (Moldig- Re Light) has been released on the 1st of March, 2013, as Black & White Dog Records (self-production).
Moldig’s songs have received radio passages on various radio stations: Thirteen13 (UK), Deathrock Tampa Florida (US), Radio zZzombie (Canada& France), Insomnia Radio (UK), Radio Tonkuhle (DE), XM Satellite Radio NYC (with live appearance) Ash Radio , Rock365, Wireonline, Nette Radio, Headcase Radio (USA), Isonlive Radio (Australia), RLP, RadioPNR, Radio Digitale (+interview) , RadioBaldanza (It), , InerciaRadio (Mexico) and have been played by DJs in Europe, USA and Australia.
